Raising up leaders into the harvest field in francophone countries

Then saith he unto his disciples, The harvest truly is plenteous, but the labourers are few; Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he will send forth labourers into his harvest.
Mat 9:37-38

What types of ministries meet here?

Les Moissonneurs serves as a medium for bringing together ministries who will

  • commit themselves selflessly;
  • consecrate themselves;
  • work in total submission to the direction of the Holy Spirit;
  • work in unity so that the kingdom and rule of Christ on earth may come;
  • cooperate in training trainers for the work of the harvest in the power and anointing of the Holy Spirit and
  • multiply the testimony of Christ first in francophone nations of the world.
What are the goals of Les Moissonneurs?
  • Set up Training Centres
  • Cooperate in joint activities to advance the Gospel of Jesus Christ
  • Provide literacy programmes for the target group
  • Resource ministries for the work of the Gospel
  • Empowering Women
  • Relieving Poverty
What are the needs and problems that we've identified?

The main needs centre around adequately trained personnel who can disciple converts and make them disciple makers.

  • Many evangelistic outreaches have seen many souls saved. There hasn’t always been sufficient manpower to translate those who make the decisions to actual disciples. Also, the workers themselves need adequate training so that they can do the works of Christ and so that they can be effective in their output. Many churches are seeking for trained personnel to relieve the Senior Pastor in their respective churches.
  • Illiteracy needs to be addressed so that willing personnel can have access to necessary training to enable them to serve
  • A pool of trained staff will lighten the load and enable each minister to concentrate on his or her own area of anointing for the benefit of the entire body.
  • This will greatly enrich the body of Christ and contribute to a comprehensive Christian witness in each nation.
  • The more trained personnel are released the easier it will be to reach the wider population and the more effective the work of Jesus Christ.
Why do we do this?

Les Moissonneurs is a platform established to enable everyone with a passion to see the francophone nations reached with the Gospel of Our Lord Jesus Christ to come together with a common purpose to release workers into our Lord’s vineyard. (Mat 9:38) After several years of investment in missions by various teams it has been a privilege to work with many ministries in various French speaking nations. We respect the dedication and commitment of the various organizations we have been privileged to work with. However, the harvest truly is plentiful and the labourers are few. What work that is being done is barely stretching the surface.

Compared with English speaking nations, Francophone countries, particularly the former colonies have not received a great deal of Christian input. Hence, many if not most of them have fewer than 2% of the population who are evangelical Christians. At the present point in time, evangelical Christians make up a relatively small percentage of the population of French speaking nations in the world. Even if they were all active disciple makers, they would still be far too few for the gigantic work of reaching the nations for Christ.  It is evident that a massive injection of workers is required to make the necessary impact. It is not the work of one person or a single ministry. That is why God has tactically gifted each ministry differently with His manifold wisdom so that the principalities and powers will recognize the Lordship of Our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. (Eph 3:10). The time has come, therefore, to raise the stakes and jointly mobilize strategically in order to rein in the harvest  through training that will be self-perpetuating after the order of 2Tim 2:2.

There is an impetus of the Holy Spirit, calling the Body of Christ to a position of strength and impact through the power of unity and cooperation among the Christian groups in Francophone nations and abroad so that we can see the Kingdom of God advance in the nation. Prophetic word, one after the other, confirms the fact that the time is ripe to encourage all those who have a heart to see the French speaking nations saved to join in a common purpose to see them evangelized and discipled for Jesus. While the door is still open and the church is in a favourable position, it is important to move very fast. The heavens are open. This is the time for strategic action. Through unity, which is the sacerdotal prayer of Jesus (Jn 17:21), nothing shall be impossible (Gen 11:6). The church is presently in a strong position to see the rule and reign of Christ come as we cooperate with God and work together as God’s army.

Testimonies

Leaders have been impacted, empowered, and equipped to serve the Lord with boldness.

Lily K. Cabady

Pastors were impacted by the discipleship teaching and a church was  planted by a local pastor in the DRC following les moissonneurs’s mission.

Dieudonne Cabady

Les moissoneurs’ missions have touched the people in Congo Kinshasa in a powerful way. The impact was significant regarding leaders and minister training, as well as ministering in churches. Every church wants missionaries to come and minister at their churches.
Two words summarise my experiences during these missions: ‘Need’ and ‘Thirst’!
The need is so great, and they are thirsty!

The impact of Les Moissonneurs in Kinshasa: restored hearts se ablaze with a hunger for the things of God, rekindled with a passion to serve Him.

In 2018 Pastor Kemi asked me to join a team of missionaries to go  to Chad, a Central African country, one of the poorest in the world. The mission was powerful, the Holy Spirit moved with might to set the people free, the presence of God was tangible. I was humbled to see the pastors and leaders who came from different areas of the country, sleeping on the floor, night after night for nearly 3 weeks without complaining, the only thing that mattered to them was to have an encounter with God ;  they had such a strong hunger of the word of God, it was amazing to see. Hundreds of children from 0 to 10 years were delivered from rejection, abuse and trauma. Women were also delivered and healed. A prayer movement for the nation was launched.
Glory to God.

Il y a toujours un impact quand sa parole est prêché accompagné di Saint-Esprit. Les malades sont guéries, les vies brisés restaurer. C’est lui qui fait sa Promotion. On est des spectateurs de la plus grande star au monde.

Gauthier Geeraert
I had the opportunity of being a part of the Les Moissonneur’s international missions in the RDC in 2015 and 2016.

We joined in with local ministries, churches and Christians to evangelise, train, equip the saints and reach out to various people groups such as women’s ministry to widows and street workers- sharing the Gospel right in the midst of the very areas where they were.

The team helped form youth street evangelism teams and going out with them to share the Gospel, many of them for the first time whereby in one outreach with young people, 100 souls were won to The Lord Jesus Christ within one hour.

Church leaders were trained in the model of discipleship, to train and equip new converts to build strong churches that have a sound knowledge of the Word.

It was just not impacting the Congolese people but everyone in the team was highly impacted. I was.
The almost discouraged and weakening churches were revived as hope and faith were stirred within them.
The support and partnership with Les Moissonneur’s was beyond imagination.
